Chess “Match of Two Capitals” was held at the Kharkiv Palace Hotel

Who is stronger — Kharkiv or Kyiv?

It was decided in the Ballroom of the Premier Palace Hotel Kharkiv when the chess teams of two cities have met in the unique “Match of two capitals” under the aegis of the Kharkiv Regional Chess Federation.
16-17 of January the contest was opened by 82 pairs of young chess players from Kharkiv and the region and then was continued by his titled grandmasters, world and chess Olympic champions.
After two intense days of the tournament, the score was 21.5:18.5 in favour of Kievans so they took the main cup to their city.
